METRO PAY & DISPLAY METER WON THE PRESTIGIOUS DESIGN AWARD IN THE USA
The Good Design awards programme is the world's oldest and most internationally celebrated design competition that recognises prominent designers and manufacturers for originality, innovation, and for advancing new product concepts beyond basic product and consumer design.
In 2007 the METRO Pay & Display Meter was selected from hundreds of award submissions from over 26 nations for products such as the new 787 Boeing airplane to the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

METRO PAY & DISPLAY METER VOTED AS THE MOST USER FRIENDLY IN AN INDEPENDENT WORLD-WIDE SURVEY
In a worldwide independent international study of Parking Meters for usability and design the Metro was voted best overall pay & display machine. The focus of this 2008 article was to compare parking meters around the globe and to find the basic commonalities or remarkable differences in their interfaces, and whether improvement is needed.
The study was undertaken by UXalliance – Netherlands - The international network for user experience
